Diane Uzunovska is a Qualified and Experienced Primary School Educator, Mentor, Trainer, NLP Practitioner and Founder of Kids are Leaders.

She was a targeted graduate through the DET Graduate Recruitment Program and in mid 2004 graduated from the highly respected University of Wollongong. Diane holds a Bachelor of Teaching majoring in Primary Education with Distinction.

During her second year of study at the University of Wollongong Diane was nominated by the Associate Dean to work as a casual student assistant in the Faculty of Education.

Upon graduating in the top 10% of the state (NSW) she was employed by the former DET – (Department of Education & Training) now known as the DEC – (Department of Education & Communities) in an immediate permanent full-time teaching capacity in 2005.

Diane was born and grew up in Wollongong on the South Coast of NSW in Australia. 

She has now been based in Sydney, for the last 9 years. During this time Diane has lived in the suburbs of South Sydney and currently resides in the suburbs of Eastern Sydney. 

Her employment as a classroom educator throughout Sydney schools spans across the Sutherland Shire, St George area and Inner Western Sydney. 

Currently Diane has 9 years of classroom teaching experience.

Her classroom teaching experiences range from grades 1 to 5 in both the Catholic and Public education sector.

During the last 9 years Diane has also privately tutored 5-12 year old kids in the key learning areas of Mathematics and English in their family homes.

As an educator Diane firmly believes the Core Key Learning Areas – Maths, English, Human Society & It’s Environment, Science & Technology, PD/H/PE, Creative Arts and (Religious Education taught in Catholic, Independent and Private Schools) are necessary components of educating our future generations, especially numeracy and literacy.

She strongly believes that educating children with 21st Century life skills in a constantly changing world is vital!
