Diane Uzunovska is the Founder of Kids are Leaders and is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of 5-12 year old kids.
She is a qualified and experienced Primary School Educator, Mindset Mentor and RAKtivist – Random Acts of Kindness Foundation Ambassador.
Diane was a targeted graduate through the Department of Education & Training Graduate Recruitment Program and in mid 2004 graduated from the highly respected University of Wollongong.
She holds a Bachelor of Teaching majoring in Primary Education, with Distinction.
During Diane’s second year of study at the University of Wollongong she was nominated by the Associate Dean and worked as a casual student assistant in the Faculty of Education.
Upon graduating in the top 10% of the state, in 2005 she was employed by the NSW Public School System in a permanent full-time teaching capacity.
Diane was born and grew up in Wollongong on the South Coast of NSW in Australia.
She has lived in Sydney, for the last 11 years and currently resides in the suburbs of Eastern Sydney.
Her experience as a classroom educator throughout Sydney schools spans across the Sutherland Shire, St George and Inner Western Sydney areas.
Diane currently has 11 years of classroom teaching experience.
Her classroom teaching experiences range from grades K-6 in both the Catholic and Public education sectors.
Diane’s dedication to educating our future generations extends to having assisted hundreds of 5-12 year old kids with Mathematics and English skills in their family homes.
As an educator Diane firmly believes the Core Key Learning Areas, taught in K-6 classrooms are necessary components of educating our future generations, but strongly believes educating children with 21st century life skills and habits within a changing world is vital!
